2. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Bhawanipur (Akbarpur O.P.) P.S. Case No. 198 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the dead body of the deceased was recovered from a field and the petitioner is the father of the deceased victim in a case of honour killing.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 28.08.2023 and it has very fairly been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the charges have been framed against the petitioner on 17.10.2024.

5. Considering the fact that trial of the petitioner has started, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The Court below is directed to conclude the trial of the petitioner at the earliest and the Superintendent of Police, Purnia is directed to produce the witnesses in the trial on the dates fixed.

8. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Purnia through FAX for its compliance forthwith.
