2. The main grievance of the petitioner is that his name and the names of a number of persons were left to be mentioned in the voters' list of 2024 PACS election of Gram Panchayat Raj Khainsa.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that during the preparation of voters' list, Gram Panchayat Raj Khainsa was flood affected and it was the reason, the legible

Patna High Court CWJC No.17589 of 2024(2) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 members were shifted to another place and that is why, the date of raising objection regarding inclusion of names as members in the voters' list was not within the knowledge of the petitioner. He has further submitted that names of a few persons of other Panchayat has been included in Gram Panchayat Raj Khainsa.

4. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the State Election Authority submits that much water has flown in the river and now the nomination process has started. The scrutiny has also started and the objection of the petitioner is time barred as it was filed on 22.10.2024 i.e. after the date of filing objection.

5. The objection against the draft voters' list was filed at a belated stage and the process of election is going on, so I do not find merit in the present writ application.
