For issuance of a writ order or direction including a writ in the nature of certiorari to set aside the settlement order dated 18-5-2021, as passed by the learned Court of Collector, Kaimur at Bhabua, in Settlement Case No. 8 of 2017-18, whereby and

Patna High Court CWJC No.19379 of 2024(2) dt.03-01-2025 3/3 whereunder the Collector, Kaimur at Bhabua has settled the Anabad Sarvsadharan Land, which is pyne/pathway for supply of water for irrigation of agricultural land of 4 villages, in favour of the contesting respondents, without notice to the petitioner and other persons.

(ii). For issuance of a writ order or direction including a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to remove the encroachment made upon the public land in question and restraining them from interfering in utilization of the water supply for irrigation of the agricultural land."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
