Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.11.2017. Allegation is that the petitioner was carrying 1400 bottles of foreign liquor on a vehicle.

Considering the aforesaid facts as well as a statement of the petitioner on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on completion of three months of custody on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5160 of 2018 (2) dt.30-01-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Rajpur Police Station Case No. 298 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
