2. This is an application for issuance of writ(s), order(s), direction(s) or in the nature of mandamus or other appropriate writ for the following reliefs:

(i) For direction to the Respondent authority

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.2494 of 2024(3) dt.30-06-2025 2/2 to make the fair Investigation properly either by the local police or any otherindependent agency and to submit final form under section 173 of Cr. P.C. against the persons who are found involved/guilty in case relating to Mejorganj P.S. Case no: 131 of 2024 u/s 120(8), 436, 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code.

(ii) For direction to the Respondent authority to take all necessary steps for arresting accused persons of Mejorganj P.S. Case no.

131 of 2024 for putting on trial.

(iii) For direction to the Respondent authority to take appropriate necessary action against the erring officers for misconduct, negligence irregularity committed by them.

(iv) For conducting fair and independent investigation by an agency other than the local police to prevent miscarriage of justice.

3. Pursuant to the order dated 23.06.2025, the SHO of Mejorganj Police Station, Sitamarhi has appeared. He has assured this Court that the investigation of the case is being done properly and the investigation shall be completed shortly. Before completing the investigation, the SHO will examine the witnesses produced by the informant.
