The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dumraon P.S. Case No.330 of 2017 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition (Excise) Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 222 bottles, each containing 180 ml. Indian Made Foreign Liquor, from the house of the petitioner, while the petitioner, at that time, succeeded to flee away from the house.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7765 of 2018 (2) dt.08-02-2018 2/2 custody since 16.12.2017.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Buxar, in connection with Dumraon P.S.
