2. The petitioners are in custody since 18.09.2019 in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No. 191 of 2019 for the offences alleged under Sections 272/273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

3. It is submitted that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in connection with recovery of 1583.28 litres of foreign liquor and 36 litres of beer from the truck. It is submitted that the petitioners are not the owner of the subject truck rather they are said to be the driver. It is submitted that the petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71086 of 2019(2) dt.11-12-2019 2/2 had no knowledge about the incriminating goods loaded on the truck. The petitioners claim clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and the gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioners. The petition stands dismissed.
