The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Khanpur P.S.Case No. 138 of 2017 registered under Sections 25(1-b)a/26 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation is of recovery of a double barrel country made gun from the possession of the petitioner and he is in custody for last six months, having no criminal antecedent of similar nature and there is only one case against him under the Excise Act. Having considered the period of custody, petitioner, namely, Randhir Kumar Singh, is directed to be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Samastipur in connection with Khanpur P.S. Case No. 138 of 2017.
