2. The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 364 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, some unknown persons are

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82445 of 2023(2) dt.20-12-2023 2/3 said to have demanded Rs. 2,00,000/- as ransom from the informant and also threatened him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. The petitioners are not named in the FIR. Their name came into light during course of investigation. Ransom money has not been executed. It is further submitted that the petitioners have not been put on TIP and they are languishing in judicial custody since 16.8.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the state has opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as custody period of the petitioners, this court is inclined to enlarge them on bail. The above named petitioners are directed to be released on bail in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 364 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Sherghati Gaya.
