2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Amas P.S. Case No. 132 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 379, 279, 427 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per allegation, when the informant along with two other persons was returning to his house and when they stopped near toll plaza for taking tea, the accused persons, equipped with lathi and iron rod, came there and started abusing them. On protest, they assaulted the informant and also snatched his golden chain worth Rs. 70,000/-. Further, they demanded Rs. 50,000/- as ransom.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there was free fight between two religious groups. Both the parties

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83425 of 2023(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 have suffered injuries. The injuries suffered by the injured persons are simple in nature. He has further submitted that in counter case, one person Robin Singh has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.

5. The petitioner has a criminal antecedent of similar nature of case though he is on bail in that case.

6. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below and make a prayer for regular bail.

7. With these observations, the anticipatory bail petition is disposed of.
