JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 25-11-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents.
Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i). For issuance of a direction, order or writ including writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the Seniority List published on 05/01/2019 by the concerned respondent authorities under the Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, for promotion of Preliminary Teachers to the rank of Principal/Headmaster by taking 31/12/2018 as base date;
(ii). Issuance of a direction, order or writ including writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the
Patna High Court CWJC No.23123 of 2019(2) dt.25-11-2019 2/2 concerned respondent authorities to publish a fresh Seniority List for the promotion of Preliminary Teachers to the rank of Principal/Headmaster without there being any legal infirmity;
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the writpetitioner shall approach the respondent-authorities highlighting the grievances made in the present petition. This, he states, shall be positively done within a period of four weeks. Learned counsel for the respondents states that on receipt of such representation, appropriate action shall positively be taken within a period of three months thereafter. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court, if the need so arises.
