2 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Maheshkhunt PS Case No 141 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 20 (b) (ii) (B), 22 (b) of the NDPS Act.

3 Perusal of the case diary, seizure list and impugned order show that 1.363 Kgs of Ganja was recovered from the house of petitioner in presence of petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 07.07.2023. Perusal of the impugned order also shows that witnesses have supported the version of the first information report.

4 In these circumstances, I am not inclined to grant

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80277 of 2023(3) dt.29-02-2024 2/2 bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, this bail petition is rejected.

5 However, learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within six months of receiving a copy of this order. 6 If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period of six months, the petitioner may renew the prayer for bail before the trial Court and the trial Court shall grant bail to the petitioner.
