The petitioner seeks bail in S.T. No.620/17, arising out of Khodabandpur P.S. Case No. 165 of 2017 registered under Section 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner along with his son is said to have committed dowry death of the daughter of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is quite innocent and no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case due to ulterior motive. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19345 of 2018 (03) dt.18-05-2018 - 2 - There is direct allegation of demand of dowry against the son of the petitioner and not against her. Petitioner does not happen to be beneficiary of the aforesaid dowry. She happens to be lady and has been languishing in custody since 12.01.2018. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Begusarai in connection with S.T.
