The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 272, 273, and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) (b) (c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 2044.80 liters of foreign liquor was recovered from the truck. It is further contended that the petitioner is the driver of the said truck and he has nothing to do with the said liquor which was to be delivered to one Ranjeet Ray at Chapra. It is also contended that the Charge-sheet/prosecution report has been submitted in this case. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 10.11.2017.

No.20366 of 2018(2) dt.19-04-2018 2/2 Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Kuchaikot P.S. Case No. 307 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
