2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 152 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

3. There is recovery of 960 litres of illicit liquor. The petitioner is the owner of the Tata Magic vehicle which was being used for transporting illicit liquor.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the Tata Magic vehicle was purchased by him for commercial purposes and it cannot be used for private purposes and it is the driver who has done the mischief. The petitioner is in jail since 16.05.2024 and claims to have clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to donate Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in some charitable organization without accepting his guilt.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Court No. 01, Buxar/concerned court below in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 152 of 2024 subject to condition that the petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Nala Road, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioners shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
