The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that there was demand of dowry and they used to torture and assault the victim. Allegation has been made that on 14.12.2017 in the evening a telephonic call was received by her son that her daughter was unconscious. While the victim was going to hospital she died. In the post mortem report cause of death has not been ascertained.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19085 of 2018 (2) dt.06-04-2018 Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 are mother-in-law and father-inlaw, petitioner nos. 2 and 4 are Debar and petitioner no.5 is married Nanad.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, let petitioners, namely, Mohsana Khatoon, Md. Sultan, Dilsad, Minsad and Sahera Khatoon alias Saira Khatoon, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No.237 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
