2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Parbatta (Maraiya) P.S. Case No. 324 of 2023 for the offences registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 27.02.2019 sister of the informant was married with Sushil Kumar. After marriage, she was subjected to torture and threatened her of life by her in-laws for demand of dowry. It is alleged that on 13.07.2023 informant got information from Sushil Kumar that his sister has committed suicide by hanging herself. The informant reached there and saw his sister dead.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82460 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. He has no concern with the affairs of the deceased and her husband. Petitioner is an old man and he has no role in dowry demand or dowry death. He has falsely been implicated in this case. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 26.07.2023.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned concerned Court where the case is pending in connection with Parbatta (Maraiya) P.S.
