2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 323,498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The case is one under section 498A and the petitioner is husband. The complaint case discloses an allegation of demand of dowry and torture.

4. The matter had been sent to the Patna High Court, Mediation Center for reaching an amicable settlement between the parties and it would appear from the Memorandum of Agreement dated 15.07.2025 passed in Mediation Proceeding no. 604 of 2025 that the issues has been resolved between the parties and a decision for one time settlement has been arrived at, upon payment of Rs. 11 lakh to the opposite party by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82890 of 2024(5) dt.04-08-2025 2/2 petitioner in installments. As per the terms and conditions the first installment of Rs. 2 lakh was to be paid by way of bank draft on the date of hearing of the present bail application and the same bearing Draft No. 368491 has been handed over to the learned counsel for the OP.NO.2 in court and a copy thereof is being kept on record.

5. It has been submitted on behalf of both the parties that schedule of payment and other terms and conditions as agreed upon by the parties by way of said memorandum of the agreement would be strictly adhered to.

6. Considering all the above mentioned facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/ successor court in Complaint Case no. 1566 of 2022 , subject to condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.PC.
