2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 28.12.2016 informant received a call on his mobile from mobile No. 07762085220 demanding ransom of Rs. 10 lakh and also giving threat that if the ransom was not paid within 48

4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the alleged mobile number does not belong to this petitioner. The name of the petitioner transpired during the course of the investigation on the confessional statement of co-accused Dharmendra Kumar Gupta. Except confessional statement, there is nothing on record to show the complicity of the petitioner in the alleged occurrence.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate - 1ST Class, Siwan in connection with Guthani P.S. case No. 168 of 2016, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of
