The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kanti P.S.Case No.768/18, G.R.No.4199 of 2018 registered for offences punishable under Section 393 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per FIR, while the informant was going by motorcycle, 3-4 miscreants tried to snatch the motorcycle from him but in the light of the Car, they fled away and one person was arrested, who divulged the name of the petitioner and other accused persons.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that except the confessional statement, there is nothing against him and he has no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80276 of 2019(2) dt.10-12-2019 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. , who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that in such type of cases, TIP is required and for that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required. . Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, however, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below and make prayer for regular bail.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
