Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Khagaria (Chitragupt Nagar) P.S. Case No. 62 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections-420, 406, 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation against the petitioners, who are ladies and representatives of the area, is of defalcation of the amount, meant for flood relief distribution.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that no specific allegation of overt act has been attributed against them
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21625 of 2018 (2) dt.01-05-2018 and the flood relief fund has been distributed amongst the affected people. The main allegation is against one Anand Kumar who having made forged signature and putting forged thumb impression, received the amount.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Chitragupt Nagar) P.S. Case No. 62 of 2018, subject to the conditions under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and further condition that one of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned.
