The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kudhani P.S. Case No. 269 of 2018 dated 06.06.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

The name of the petitioner transpired in the confession of a co-accused person. Apart from this, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the offence. However, the petitioner has a tainted background and the four cases which have been listed in paragraph-3 of the bail petition in which the petitioner has been made accused, he has been granted bail in three of them.

However, considering the period of custody

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70011 of 2019(2) dt.11-12-2019 2/2 which is from 01.06.2019, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 3rd Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Kudhani P.S.
