2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No. 33 of 2010 having S.T. No. 231 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 121A/122 of the Indian Penal Code and further under Section 25(1-A)/26(i) (ii)/35 of the Arms Act read with Sections 3/4/5 of the Explosive Substance Act and under Section 17 of the CLA Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the police recovered huge quantity of explosives and another materials from jungle.

4. The petitioner has been named in the FIR by the local people.

5. The case is of the year 2010 and the petitioner is in jail since 14.11.2022.

6. The petitioner is an absconder and he has antecedents of similar and serious cases also.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

9. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
