ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 14-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
The petitioner has been in custody since 06.08.2017 in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 209 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 452/341/323/324/325/326 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already been in custody since 06.08.2017 and the trial is likely to take some time though the same is under progress. It further appears from the diary that though the allegation is of the month of May, the First Information Report was registered only on 29.07.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22577 of 2018 (3) dt.14-05-2018 2/2 after perusal of the case diary submits that all the witnesses have supported the case of the prosecution and that the victim lady has been subjected several times which is also evident from the injury report and the trial is also under progress and, therefore, the petitioner may not be granted bail.
Having considered all the facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner. It is accordingly rejected.
The trial court is directed to expedite the trial so that the same may be concluded within a period of six months. (Anjana Mishra, J) Saif/- U T
