1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Bandhuwa Kurawa P.S. Case no.47 of 2025 registered under sections 126(2), 109, 352, 351(2) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and sections 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substance Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that he woke up late in the night on the sound of a bomb blast. On going on his terrace, he saw the seven named accused persons including the petitioner herein on the terrace of the neighbouring house. It is stated that the accused threw a bomb on him as a result of which his younger sister sustained injury.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

The allegations are general and omnibus in nature and the sister of the informant has sustained simple injury. The petitioner is in custody since 26.8.2025 and has no criminal antecedent.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegation against the petitioner in the FIR, the petitioner having remained in custody for 5 months since 26.8.2025, his not having any criminal antecedent and charge-sheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Bandhuwa Kurawa P.S. Case no.47 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Banka.
