2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhabhua Excise P.S. Case No. 739/ 2024 dated 23.09.2024 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 30(a), 32(i), 32(3), 41(1) and 41(2) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
3. The main submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner are that the instant matter relates to the recovery of 162.750 litres of foreign liquor from a Maruti Suzuki Wagon R car, though, the petitioner was found present in the said vehicle at the time of recovery but he had no knowledge of the transportation of alleged liquor and he has been

No.83113 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 languishing in jail since 24.09.2024 and he was simply present as the driver of the vehicle and against him, investigation has been completed. It is further submitted that against this petitioner, there is criminal antecedent of one case but he is on bail in the said case.
4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the bail prayer.
5. Considering the petitioner's custody period and completion of investigation against him, this court is inclined to accept his bail prayer. Accordingly, let the petitioner namedabove be released on bail in connection with Bhabhua Excise P.S. Case No. 739/ 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- ( Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
