2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 669 of 2021, lodged on 26.08.2021 under Sections 341, 323, 302, 326, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 16.02.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65339 of 2022. Counsel further submits that there is no progress in the trial.

4. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the evidence of prosecution witnesses are going on.

5. Report has been called for vide order no.2 dated 22.12.2023 and it transpires from the said report that the Court

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82839 of 2023(3) dt.09-02-2024 2/2 has anticipated that within seven months, trial shall be concluded.

6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2022.

7. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

8. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

9. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Turkauliya P.S. Case No. 669 of 2021, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-19, East Champaran, Motihari is hereby rejected.
