1. The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to initiate encroachment proceedings for removal of encroachment made by the private respondents no.4 and 5, over the alleged public land appertaining to Khata No.87, Survey No.961, situated at Mauza-Titira, P.S. Parsa, District-Saran.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State has

Patna High Court CWJC No.17763 of 2024(2) dt.25-11-2024 2/2 submitted by referring to the writ petition that not even a chit of paper has been annexed to show that the aforesaid land is a public land, nonetheless, he is not averse to the petitioners approaching the Circle Officer, Parsa, Saran i.e. the respondent no.3 for redressal of their aforesaid grievances.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent no.3 for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off.
