1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in Dumaria P. S. Case No.55 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 353, 504, 506 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1b)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act, Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Explosive Substance Act and Sections 16, 18 and 20 of the UAPA Act.

3. In the nature of allegation as alleged in the F.I.R., the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner as it has been alleged that while police officials were conducting raid at the place of occurrence when heavy counter and cross-firing took place in between the

No.845 of 2024(2) dt.08-04-2024 2/2 prosecution party and the members of Nuxals and taking advantage of the firing, the culprits managed to escape and thereafter, on search, several arms and ammunitions were recovered and co-accused persons were taking the name of the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail is rejected.
