2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 126 ( 2 ), 115 ( 2 ), 103

(1) and 3 (5) of BNS.

3 . It is a case of 'Dowry Death'. As per F.I.R., daughter of informant was married with this petitioner in the year 2013. After the marriage , daughter of informant was subjected to cruelty and harassment by the accused persons and ultimately, on 19.04.2025 informant got an information from her daughter that her in -laws is committing maarpeet with her and demanding money as further dowry . Thereafter, this petitioner along with other co-accused persons killed daughter of informant due to non-fulfillment of the dowry . There on

4. Petitioner is husband of deceased. Allegation is general and omnibus against this petitioner. No specific overt act is alleged against him. It is further submitted that daughter of informant ( deceased ) was mentally ill and was not living a healthy life and she was also issueless and her medical treatment was going on and due to the very same reason deceased died and informant and his family members were also aware of the aforesaid facts.

5 . Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners and submitted that petitioner is husband of deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against this petitioner that he along with other coaccused persons used to torture and harass the deceased and ultimately , killed daughter of informant.

6. Considering the fact that petitioner is husband of deceased, nature of accusation and other circumstances of the case , the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Koushik/- U T
