2. The present writ petition is filed for the following relief(s):- "(i) For quashing the Certificate Case No.- 21/2023-24 pending before the District Supply Officer, Bhagalpur.

(ii) For direction to say the operation of Certificate Case No.-21/2023-2024 pending before the District Supply Officer, Bhagalpur."

3. Admittedly in the present case, the petitioner has

Patna High Court CWJC No.18404 of 2023(4) dt.03-12-2024 2/3 not filed his objections under Section 9 of the Public Demand Recovery Act, therefore, this Court is of the opinion that the ends of Justice would be met if the petitioner is directed to file his objections under Section 9 of the Public Demand Recovery Act.

4. Having regard to the same, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file his objections under Section 9 of the Public Demand Recovery Act to the Respondent No. 7, i.e., the District Supply Officer-cumCertificate Officer, Bhagalpur within a period of four weeks from today. On such objections being filed, the Respondent No. 7, i.e., the District Supply Officer-cum-Certificate Officer, Bhagalpur shall consider the objections filed by the petitioner and then pass a reasoned order. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of the receipt of the objections filed by the petitioner.

5. It is needless to mention that before passing any order the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

6. Till such time the final orders are passed, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.

7. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
