The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Panapur P.S. Case No. 157/2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30/30(a)/38/41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the recovery has been made from the Scorpio vehicle and not from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
