JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 10-01-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 117 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Sections 341, 324, 326, 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that the informant was taken by the petitioner on motorcycle and on the way, the informant was repeatedly stabbed by the petitioner on the vital part of his body.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is only one injury on the person of informant and the same is found simple in nature and petitioner has been in custody for about seven months.

Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72473 of 2019(3) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 the informant. They have opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner on the ground that the injury caused to the informant was upto the vocal chord.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances of the, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, if the trial is not concluded within six months, petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.
