JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 29-01-2020 Counsel for the petitioner is permitted to implead the Administrator, Civil Sewa, BC & EBC, Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that he was fully qualified and eligible for grant of benefits under the Chief Minister Extremely Backward Class Civil Service Protsahan Yojana. However, his claim for the aid has been rejected under the orders of the Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department, Patna under its e-mail dated 23.10.2019. The petitioner has raised the issue that without assigning any reason of rejection his claim has been rejected prejudicing his cause for proper preparation to appear in the mains examination contrary to the scheme of the State Government itself. The guidelines of the State Government is also enclopsed along with the writ petition which has been issued by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.23202 of 2019(2) dt.29-01-2020 2/2 same Department on 19.7.2018.

Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has already approached the Admin Civil Sewa BC & EBC vide Annexure 10.

In view of the said submission, this Court would dispose of the writ application with a direction to the Admin Civil Sewa BC & EBC, Welfare Department, Patna to dispose of the petitioner's claim (Annexure P-10) and provide the reason for rejecting his claim for aid under the Protsahan Yojana expeditiously and without any undue delay and preferably within a period four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
