The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case No. 235 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 20 liters of country made liquor from the conscious possession of the petitioner and the petitioner is in jail custody since 29.08.2019. He further submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, subject to deposit of Rs.10,000/- in the court below/Nazarat. Let the petitioner above

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.73889 of 2019(2) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case No. 235 of 2019. Such deposit of Rs.10,000/- shall abide by the outcome of the criminal case.
