The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauni (Refinery) P.S. Case No. 268 of 2017 dated 20.07.2017 instituted for the offence under Sections 25(1-B)a, 26, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner is alleged to have been found in possession of one loaded country made pistol and one live cartridge. The petitioner is in custody since 20.07.2017. The petitioner was earlier made accused in about seven cases but in all such cases he has been granted bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that inadvertently instead of seven cases against him, it has only been stated in paragraph-3 of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25606 of 2018(3) dt.17-05-2018 2/2 the petition that there are three cases against the petitioner.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of recovery he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Begusarai in connection with Barauni (Refinery) P.S. Case No. 268 of 2017.
