JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-06-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 318(4), 316(2), 336(2), 338, 336(3), 336(4), 340(2)(3)(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. Earlier, for settlement of dispute between the parties, the matter was referred to Mediation Centre of this Court and in compliance thereof, the Mediator has sent its report dated 15.06.2026, which is available at flag 'M'. From perusal

No.79574 of 2025(6) dt.22-06-2026 2/3 of report, it appears that out of three petitioners, only petitioner no. 1 & 2 appeared and petitioner no. 2 settled its dispute and was ready to pay the amount decided between him and opposite party no. 2, out of which, Rs. 60,000/- (sixty thousand) has already been paid by him to opposite party no. 2 and rest amount i.e. Rs. 67,000/- (sixty seven thousand) shall be paid in installment, as per agreement. So far as petitioner no. 1 is concerned, he was not ready to resolve the dispute through mediation and was not ready to pay any amount to opposite party no. 2. Petitioner no. 3 even did not appear on any dates before mediation centre and as such, mediation with respect to petitioner no. 2 succeeds, however, it (mediation) failed with regard to petitioner nos. 1 & 3.

4. In that view of the matter, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner nos. 1 & 3, namely, Indrajeet Singh and Most. Sonpari Kumari @ San Pari Devi stands rejected.

5. Since, as per agreement, petitioner no. 2 has paid Rs. 60,000/- to opposite party no. 2 and is ready to pay the rest amount, his prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed.

6. Accordingly, let the petitioner no. 2, namely Sameerjeet Singh, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a

Case No. 322 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S., 2023.
