Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Shakurabad PS Case No.10 of 2018, registered under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation is that when the police gave signal for stopping a motorcycle borne by five persons then four persons escaped away and petitioner was apprehended and motorcycle is alleged to be stolen one.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was a pillion rider, he fell down and apprehended and others escaped away, investigation has been completed in this case and the petitioner is in custody since 21.01.2018. Having considered the said facts and circumstances,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25569 of 2018(2) dt.27-04-2018 2/2 petitioner Anuj Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Judge, 1st, Jehanabad in connection with Shakurabad PS Case No.10 of 2018 with following conditions:
(1) One of the bailors must be the close family member of the petitioner.
(2) The petitioner shall remain physically present on each and every date before the trial court as and when required and if he absents himself on two consecutive dates without any reasonable cause, his bail bond shall liable to be cancelled. (Arun Kumar, J) S.KUMAR/- U T
