Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is in custody for more than one year and till date cognizance has not been taken for the offence. Heard learned APP also.
Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances of the case, learned Sessions Judge, Saharsa, is directed to look into the matter as to why in this matter cognizance has not been taken as petitioner is in custody for more than one year. He is directed to expedite the matter regarding cognizance and commitment.
