This writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "(A) To direct the respondents to pay the admitted dues of Rs. 1,93,55,014/= (Rupees One Crore Ninety Trhee Lakhs Fifty Five Thousand Foruteen only) to the petitioner for the supply of different items i.e. Samayan, Water Proof Pnda Samyana Ceiling, Chair, Table, Gate etc. on the occasion of "Baba Chauharmal

Patna High Court CWJC No.17890 of 2023(4) dt.05-09-2024 2/3 National Mela" conducted in the year 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 respectively.

(B) Consequently to direct the respondent authoriteis to pay 18% interest upon the said admitted dues amount of Rs.

1,93,55,014/= from 2016 till the date to the petitioner which has been illegally and arbitrary withheld by the respondents since 2016."

In the counter affidavit filed by the Respondent Nos. 1 to 7, it is categorically stated that after due verification it was found that an amount of Rs. 1,40,19,552/- is due to be paid to the petitioner. That due to paucity of funds, the said amount could not be paid by the respondents and necessary steps are being taken for paying the amount at the earliest.

4. Having regard to the above stand taken in the counter affidavit, the present CWJC is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to pay the above admitted amount within a period of three months from today without fail. That in so far as the balance amount claimed by the petitioner is concerned, the petitioner is free to agitate his claims before the competent authority by way of representation. On such representation being filed the same shall be considered and necessary orders passed in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petition
