The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Barauni P.S. Case No.471 of 2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 323, 341, 308, 379 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made against the petitioner to have caused injury to the victim on the head, which caused injury on the skull which is reflected from the injury report. In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the court below within a period of three weeks, the court below will pass an order on its own merit on the same
