Petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to respondents to pay the difference of arrears of salary for the different period set out in paragraph 6 of the writ petition. In the matter of calculation, the Court is not in a position to issue any direction. It is up to the University to verify the record and ascertain the same.
Considering the peculiar facts of the case, the respondent University is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner for payment of arrears of different period as indicated in paragraph 6 of the writ application and decide the same. The entire exercise must be completed by the respondent within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this
Patna High Court CWJC No.8600 of 2018 (2) dt.08-05-2018 2/2 order. The respondent University is further directed to ensure payment of dues after calculating the entitlement within a further period of one month failing which the petitioner would be entitled interest @ 9 per cent per annum from the date of filing of writ application to the date of actual payment.
