The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.132 of 2018 arising out of Shikarpur P.S. Case No.250 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 304B of the Indian Penal Code. The informant of this case is the mother of the deceased. The marriage of her daughter took place in the year 2014. The informant got telephonic information regarding sustaining burn injury by her daughter. In course of treatment, the victim has disclosed that her husband sprinkled kerosene oil and put her on fire.
It has been submitted that specific allegation of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29090 of 2018 (3) dt.29-06-2018 causing burn injury is against the husband who is in custody. The petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. He is in custody since 11.10.2017 having clean antecedent. The demand of dowry is omnibus against family members.
The learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the submission.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer of bail is allowed. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge, F.T.C. II, West Champaran, Bettiah in connection with Sessions Trial No.132 of 2018 arising out of Shikarpur P.S. Case No.250 of 2017.
