Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is father-in-law of the victim of dowry death. Husband is already in custody. Allegation is general and omnibus of demand of dowry and torture for the same. Petitioner is in custody since 01.12.2017. Investigation of the case is already complete.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29618 of 2018 (3) dt.03-07-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kazi Mohammadpur Police Station Case No. 260 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner as well as condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
The learned court below shall accept the bail bond of the petitioner if the submission of the petitioner that husband is in custody is correct and release the petitioner, accordingly.
