Mr.Pranav Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER 27-05-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State through Video Conferencing in view of the lock-down on account of COVID-19 pandemic.

In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Shekhpura P.S. Case No.206 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 394, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

It appears from the record that a robbery was committed in the office where the victim was posted and he was killed, later on, the police has investigated and found certain persons including the petitioner to be involved in the said offence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that CCTV footage does not show the picture of the petitioner, but the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.71243 of 2019(4) dt.27-05-2020 2/2 statement made by the petitioner before the police including location of his mobile shows the involvement of the petitioner, inasmuch as the petitioner has a criminal back ground which has been stated in paragraph 3 of this petition.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present and accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
