Mr.Ajit Kumar, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RANJAN KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 15-07-2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The accused/petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Thawe P.S. Case No. 139 of 2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 324, 326, 307, 379, 34 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. The allegation against the petitioners is that on 14.05.2023 informant, his maternal uncle Jai Prakash Kumar, and Neeraj Kumar were ambushed near Narayanpur Kali Temple. The named accused, along with 10-12 unknown persons, allegedly opened fire, causing gunshot injuries to Jai Prakash Kumar and Neeraj Kumar. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner and two others assaulted the informant. He further submitted that the allegation is general and omnibus against petitioner and petitioner is a student.

5. Learned APP assisted by learned counsel appearing for the informant has drawn attention of this Court towards the injuries. There are four injuries on the person of the informant, where two injuries was on the vital parts of sharp-edged weapon, which corroborates the allegation made in the FIR.

6. Considering the nature of allegation against petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected.

7. However, if petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail then his prayer for regular bail shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced by this order. (Ranjan Kumar Jha, J) veena/- U T
