Mr.Parmanand Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 09-01-2026 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Lauriya P.S. Case No. 239 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 75(2) of the BNS and Sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. The allegation is that on 02.06.2025 at about 04:30 PM, the informant's minor daughter aged about 14 years was alone at home when the petitioner, a neighbour, allegedly caught her hand and touched her with wrongful intention. On alarm being raised, the petitioner is said to have fled away from the spot.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that when the informant came to know the reality, she compromised the case. He has further submitted that the

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named, is directed to furnish bail bond and on doing so, the court below shall release the petitioner on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-VII-cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Lauriya P.S. Case No. 239 of 2025, subject to the following conditions that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.

7. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available on each and every date till conclusion of the trial.
