2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 447, 307, 387, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per allegation in the FIR, when the informant was on his roof of the house, in the meantime petitioner came and started abusing and on protest by informant he taken rifle from his house and started firing with intention to kill the informant. It is further alleged that petitioner regularly came to brick kiln of the informant and demanded Rangdari of Rs. 5 lakh.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82185 of 2023(2) dt.19-12-2023 2/2 petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case due to dirty village politics. The petitioner and the informant are co-villager. No one has received injury in this case. It is further submitted that demand of ransom has not been executed. Petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 22.09.2023.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as period of custody, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrareV, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No. 58 of 2023.
