2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in connection with Shambhuganj P.S. Case No.98 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 306, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Subsequently, charge sheet submitted under Section 302, 201 and 120(B) of the I.P.C.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant, who is Chowkidar received information that Jyoti Kumari, daughter of Rajesh Mandal has committed suicide by hanging in village and her dead body has been concealed by the villagers

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. It has further been submitted that as per F.I.R., the only allegation against the petitioner is that he has assisted in concealing the dead body of the deceased. It has also been submitted that co-accused Sita Devi has been granted regular bail by learned Co-ordinate Bench vide order dated 02.08.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 52755 of 2024 and three other accused persons, namely, Vijay Mandal, Manish Mandal and Rajesh Mandal have been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 20.09.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 50405 of 2024. The case of this petitioner stands on similar footing. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is languishing in judicial custody since 16.08.2024.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as period of custody, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81697 of 2024(3) dt.07-04-2025 3/3 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Banka in connection with Shambuganj P.S. Case No.98 of 2024.
