The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Uphara P.S. Case No. 06 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding the petitioner having allured the victim girl with the promise of marriage and had then established physical relationship with her but thereafter had left the victim girl in a barn.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised, hence no prejudice would be caused to the prosecution in case the petitioner is enlarged on bail. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to ensure the appearance of the informant before the learned Court below within a period of eight

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35019 of 2018 (3) dt.29-06-2018 2/2 weeks from today and the learned Trial Court would verify the factum of compromise and on being satisfied that a compromise has been entered into between the parties as well as the matter has been set at rest, the petitioner would be enlarged on regular bail to satisfaction of the Court concerned on such terms and conditions as it may deem fit and proper.
